• Drag and Drive (200+ Mile scenic cruise experience)
• Drag Racing
• Roll Racing (NEW)
• Car show(200 mile cruise is optional but encouraged)
• Hangout and Race with TRC!
This event is held in the spirit of Drag Week and Race Week, where participants will be required to make a 200 mile cruise, return to Thunder Valley, and qualify and compete for over $30,000 in payouts. Parking and Testing will be available Friday Night, followed by a 4-hour cruise, 200 mile cruise, and two rounds of qualifying on Saturday Evening. Final qualifying and eliminations will be run Sunday, followed by awards.

Buick VS. Ford
The 29th Annual Buick vs Ford Shootout is approaching, and both teams are here to discover who the fastest are. If you own a Ford (or Ford-powered) vehicle or any Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC (or any LS-powered) car/truck, you're eligible to participate in the race!
We typically witness over 150 cars competing on the 1/4 mile, ranging from 17-second trucks to 11-second muscle cars and sub-7-second race cars. You'll be paired with someone from the opposing team who has a similar elapsed time. Whether you're fast or slow, everyone can join in the fun.

This system allows you to prepopulate your most recent tech card submission data from the current season.
There will be no paper tech cards available or accepted at the event.
Step 3 - Participant & Crew Member Event Waivers
All participants & crew over the age of 18 will be required to complete an event waiver at time of entry.
Waivers must completed online or onsite at the facility, as instructed by NHRA & Member Track.
TECH CARD POLICY REMINDER
Reminder to all participants, any driver making a run prior to submitting an electronic tech card and not signing the online or onsite waiver will be disqualified from the event. Disqualification applies to driver and vehicle in which the illegal run was involved. Should a driver have a second entry in a different category at the same event, the second entry will be allowed to continue providing tech inspection and waiver signing was completed prior to making a run in the vehicle.
TECH CARD CHANGES / CORRECTIONS
If any corrections are required after submitting a tech card.
Competitor will notify the race director or NHRA staff of any necessary corrections as soon as possible.
NHRA will provide competitor a link to edit the tech card.
CLASS CHANGES (STK, SS, COMP)
Stock Super, Stock, and Comp competitors that request a class change after submitting a tech card.
Racer notifies the tech department of a class change prior to making a qualifying attempt.
Tech department confirms vehicle fits within the class then makes applicable changes to weight sticker, etc.

Import Faceoff
The M&H Tires IMPORT FACE-OFF national car show and race series will be at Thunder Valley Raceway on 2/18/24!!
Gates open 9am, racing starts at 11am, event ends around 5pm. Car show and stereo roll-in from 9am to noon, absolute latest 2pm. Awards ceremony around 4:30.
EVENT ACTIVITIES:
Car/truck/bike show, 1/4 mile drag racing (open grudge racing/tnt - no classes), Usaci stereo crank it up contest, burnout contest (time permitting), low car limbo, 2 step competition, vendors, pit midway.

The 28th Annual Buick vs Ford Shootout is approaching, and both teams are here to discover who the fastest are. If you own a Ford (or Ford-powered) vehicle or any Buick, Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, GMC (or any LS-powered) car/truck, you're eligible to participate in the race!
We typically witness over 150 cars competing on the 1/4 mile, ranging from 17-second trucks to 11-second muscle cars and sub-7-second race cars. You'll be paired with someone from the opposing team who has a similar elapsed time. Whether you're fast or slow, everyone can join in the fun.

Nonstop Grudge Racing: Prepare for an unforgettable night of grudge racing action that doesn't stop until the early hours of the morning. Bring your car, truck or SUV out and lets’ put it to the test. Racers bring your A-game and let’s have some good ole’ fashion fun! Let’s give spectators some nail-biting showdowns!
Spectator-Friendly: Even if you're not behind the wheel, you can still be part of the action! Enjoy great food, drinks, and a lively atmosphere with fellow racing enthusiasts.
